Fuel for Kids is a program that Dave Connelly started in 2005 to support elementary schools in Ontario. This program has been running with grocery stores across Ontario for the last 10 years to the delight of students, parents, and teachers.

“I didn’t feel like we could make a difference working with some of the bigger charity groups – so we started working with schools. We knew that even if we only raised a school $300, that was soccer balls for the year, 10 years later we have raised over $225,000……..that’s a lot of soccer balls.” Laughs Dave. “We’ve raised money for carpets, smartboards, playgrounds, technology, busing, breakfast programs….whatever they need…….that’s the point. We let the school decide what they need most.”
